Shipping policy
At Fragrantera, our goal is to ship your fragrances safely, quickly, and in compliance with all federal shipping regulations for perfume and alcohol-based products. Please read the policy below for full details on processing, delivery times, restrictions, and customer responsibilities.
Shipping Methods
We ship exclusively through USPS Ground Advantage, the required method for fragrances and other alcohol-based (hazmat) products under federal regulations.
Where We Ship
We currently ship within the United States only.
We do NOT ship to:
Hawaii (Fragrances cannot legally travel by air, and no ground/sea routing is available to Hawaii.)
We DO ship to:
All contiguous U.S. states, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Other U.S. territories that are serviced by USPS Ground Advantage.
Processing Time

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days.

Weekends and holidays may extend processing time.
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email (as long as a valid email address was provided at checkout).
Transit Times

USPS Ground Advantage: typically 2–5 business days for most contiguous U.S. destinations.
Transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier volume, weather conditions, or operational issues.
Please note:
USPS Ground Advantage shipments to non-contiguous U.S. locations (such as Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories) may take significantly longer, often 7–15 business days, as these packages travel through extended ground and sea transport routes.
Important: Fragrantera does not have control over USPS delivery speed once the package has been accepted by the carrier.
Tracking Your Order
Tracking may occasionally show delays, limited scans, or temporary inactivity. This is normal for USPS Ground Advantage.
Your package remains in transit unless the carrier marks it as:
Delivered, Returned to Sender, or Undeliverable.
Undeliverable or Returned Packages
If USPS returns a package to Fragrantera due to:

an incorrect or incomplete address,
-
refusal of delivery,
-
an unclaimed package at a carrier facility, or
-
any return-to-sender situation not caused by Fragrantera,
then:
A refund will be issued minus the following:

Original shipping cost
-
Payment processing fees charged by Shopify/PayPal/etc.
(These fees are non-refundable to merchants and do not return to us.)
The package must arrive back to us unopened, unused, and in its original condition before the refund is processed.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If your tracking shows delayed, in transit, or arriving late, please allow additional time. USPS do not consider a package lost until a specific number of days have passed.
We are always happy to monitor the tracking with you, but we cannot control carrier delays.
Shipping Restrictions
Due to federal restrictions on hazardous materials (fragrance/alcohol):

We cannot ship fragrances by air

We cannot ship internationally

We cannot ship to Hawaii

All orders must ship ground only within the U.S.
Customer Responsibility
To ensure smooth delivery:
Customers are responsible for:

Entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout

Reviewing all shipping details before placing an order

Monitoring their tracking number once provided
Fragrantera is not responsible for:

Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses

Carrier delays or re-routing

Lost packages resulting from address errors or failure to claim a package

Additional shipping fees required for re-shipping a returned item
If a package is returned due to an address issue, the shipping cost and payment processing fees will be deducted as stated above.
